CLS attends the 3rd International Ammonia Energy Conference
In September 2024, Professor Yu Wang from the Combustion and Laser Sensing Laboratory led graduate students to Shanghai to attend the 3rd International Ammonia Energy Conference.
Co-hosted by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Foshan Xianhu Laboratory, the conference themed "Ammonia – New Energy, New Opportunities". During the event, Professor Yu Wang was invited to give a report titled "NO and N2O formation in ammonia-methane cofired premixed flames: A parametric study", sharing the research group’s latest achievements in the ammonia energy field.

The report presented a calibration-free, quantitative, and spatially resolved detection method for NO, N2O, and temperature in McKenna laminar premixed NH3/CH4 flames. Additionally, it conducted sensitivity and reaction pathway analyses on the formation characteristics of NO and N2O in NH3/CH4 flames.
